Saturdays 6-8pm (short poses: 1,3,5,10,20 minutes)

Fridays 7:30-9:30pm (long pose)

토요일 오후 6-8시: 누드드로잉/크로키

금요일 오후 7:30-9:30:누드드로잉

10,000won per session or buy a "5 Sessions Card" for 40,000won.

1회 참가비 10,000원 (5회 참가비 40,000원)

American artist Mike Stewart continues to host life drawing (누드드로잉 & 누드크로키) sessions in Seoul, South Korea.

These sessions, held at Jankura Artspace are for all levels. Walk-ins are welcome.

The format of each session may vary. Some weeks we will work on short poses to capture gestures, while at other times, we may work with long poses to produce more finished work. Figure drawing is one of the key elements one must experience during formal artistic training, but it is also a great activity for amateurs to enjoy to challenge of trying to capture the human form on paper or canvas.

각 세션의 형식은 달라질 수 있습니다. 몸짓을 그려내기 위해 짧은 포즈로 진행되는 날이 있는 반면, 완성된 작업을 하기 위해 긴 포즈로 진행될 수도 있습니다. 인물화 드로잉은 미술 트레이닝에서 꼭 경험해보아야 할 중요 요소입니다. 또한 아마추어에게도 종이나 캔버스 위에 인간의 형태를 담기 위한 흥미로운 도전이 될 것입니다.

Interested in modeling?

We're always looking for new models to join our team. No experience required. Full instruction will be provided. We are in search of professional adults who are not shy being looked at by a group of people. Nude, partial nude and costumed models are always needed for a variety of drawing sessions. Payment is comparable to industry standards.

모델을 해 보고 싶으신가요?

잔쿠라는 새로운 모델을 수시로 구하고 있습니다. 모델 경험이 없어도 가능합니다. 모델을 하는 방법에 대해 배우실 수 있습니다. 여러 사람이 둘러 앉아 모델의 형태를 관찰하는 것에 부끄러움을 느끼지 않고 당당하게 포즈를 취해주실 분을 찾습니다. 다양한 드로잉 세션을 위해 누드, 반누드, 착의 모델을 수시로 모집하고 있습니다. 페이는 미술계 관행상 금액을 따릅니다.

Directions To Jankura Artspace

From Itaewon Station (line #6 in Seoul) Come out exit 3 and make a U-turn.

Turn left at Olive Young Walk straight past Taco Bell for about 10 minutes. Turn left after Tous les Jours Bakery.

There is a supermarket on the corner (한가람마트). Jankura Artspace is on the 4th floor of the building on the corner.

There is Hilltop Dental and a doctor's offices on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

이태원역 3번 출구로 나와 출구 반대방향으로 유턴한 후 삼거리에서 좌회전하세요. 타코벨을 지나 7-10분 가량 직진하세요. 뚜레주르가 나오면 바로 앞의 삼거리에서 좌회전하세요. 한가람마트 건물 4층에 위치해 있습니다.
